2024 - 2025 President's Message

 

Welcome, everyone, to another year with HIMSS New England! I am honored to be the President of such a great organization for 2024-2025 and am delighted to be joined by an incredible executive board: Dana Locke (President Elect), Renee Broadbent (Past President), Liza Cameron (Treasurer), and Matt Bornstein & Patrick Streck (Members-at-Large). Together with our various committees, we look forward to yet another wonderful year.

Our focus and priority for this year can be summarized with one word: engagement. We are fortunate to represent six states across New England, and we're committed to engaging with you all and providing meaningful events, content, networking, and growth opportunities.

On behalf of the Executive Board, I would like to express my gratitude to those who make all of this possible:

To our students, thank you for trusting us as another avenue to expand your knowledge of healthcare IT. We look forward to seeing you grow in your careers.

To our senior executives, thank you for volunteering your time and sharing your thought leadership and insight. We're committed to providing you with a wonderful experience and partnering with you to tackle the biggest challenges you and your organizations face.

To our vendor partners, thank you for your continued support and for providing such rich educational content to our members.

And finally, to our volunteers and members, thank for your commitment in advancing healthcare IT and fostering a wonderful community of professionals with a shared purpose. We certainly wouldn't have this incredible chapter without you!

There has never been a more exciting time to be in healthcare IT. I look forward to seeing many of you at our kick-off event in August and throughout the year.
