Join New England HIMSS Clinical Informatics Council for a series exploring AI in the clinical world.

Intended Audiences

This activity is intended for physicians, nurses, mid-levels and pharmacists who care for patients and use artificial intelligence tools. 

Educational Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

• Discuss the diverse applications of AI in healthcare, including its role in diagnostics, treatment planning, personalized medicine, predictive analytics, and administrative processes, to effectively integrate these technologies into clinical practices and enhance overall patient care.
• Navigate and comply with regulatory frameworks, including HIPAA guidance and FDA regulations, to ensure the secure and privacy-compliant implementation of AI-driven solutions.
• Develop skills in adopting and integrating emerging technologies such as Hospital at Home programs and evaluate their impact on improving patient care and accessibility.
• Describe the ethical considerations surrounding AI in healthcare, addressing issues of bias, fairness, transparency, and patient consent.

 

There will be 3 sessions from 12-1:30pm.
