Join us for the NE HIMSS 2024 Spring Conference: Innovations in Health Information Technology - A 2024 Outlook (CEs PENDING). The conference will include breakfast, lunch and followed by a reception.
The conference will consist of two tracks*:
- Track 1 – Clinical Informatics: Revolutionizing Healthcare through Clinical Informatics Enhancing Patient Care and Outcomes
- Track 2 – Health IT on the Horizon, Anticipating the Future.
We will also be awarding our scholarship which is generously sponsored by Eink.
The New England HIMSS Annual Spring Conference will take place in Norwood, MA on Thursday, May 16th from 7:30 am – 6:00 pm, including a networking reception immediately following the closing keynote. This will be a great opportunity to network with both our attendees and sponsors, as well as enjoy cocktails, passed appetizers, live music and a photo booth!
New England HIMSS aims to provide our student members with knowledge and resources to expand their leadership skills. We will also be hosting a student poster contest providing our student members an opportunity to showcase their research to our Past President’s Club. Students, make sure you sign up!

Target Audience (for CEs)
This activity is intended for physicians, nurses, mid-levels and pharmacists who use clinical informatics in enhancing patient care and outcomes through artificial intelligence tools, real time data, and public health policies and regulations.
Educational Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Understand the key principles and benefits of clinical informatics in enhancing patient care and outcomes.
- Identify barriers to the adoption of clinical informatics and AI technologies in healthcare settings.
- Explore strategies for turning real-time data into actionable insights to drive improvements in patient care and operational efficiency.
- Gain insights into national public health policies and regulations impacting the implementation of clinical informatics solutions and develop strategies for navigating regulatory complexities in healthcare.
