Aleks Shargorodskiy, MBA, Health & Life Sciences GTM Lead – Data Center GPU, Advanced Micro Devices Corp. (AMD)
Aleks Shargorodskiy is a Manager at AMD within the Data Center GPU organization, spearheading go-to-market strategies for Health & Life Sciences. With over 15 years of experience in AI and High-Performance Computing, Aleks has specialized in advancing HW & SW infrastructure for precision medicine. He contributed to a collaboration with the Broad Institute that achieved an 85% performance improvement in the Genome Analysis Toolkit (GATK), benefiting genomic research. Aleks was a founding principal at Datma (formerly Omics Data Automation), a multimodal causal AI platform for precision medicine, and is a charter member of GenomicsDB. He has authored engineering white papers on infrastructure for genomic analysis and holds an MBA from the University of Oregon.
